For centuries the Druids of Azeroth ((on Wyrmrest Accord)) (both factions) have met openly in Moonglade to discuss the ways of the world. The Arch Druids are caught up in their battles with the Emerald Dream and are too often distracted from the current events that plague our people, all of our people. And so a council was been formed nigh a year ago to stand as a go-between for the Arch Druids and the Druid community at large.

This Council now falters... it needs new blood, new voices, new bodies. And so I ask you... do you harbor the wisdom, the compassion and the sense of justice, that is necessary to lead your fellow druids as we seek to protect the blessed Earth Mother from her own children?

My guild has a long-standing history of playing Hide & Seek in the main cities. Usually this is done on mammoths (you'd be amazed at how many good hiding spots there are when riding a mammoth). But recently some of the guys decided mammoths were too easy. We've been playing so long that we all know the good hiding spots, so it's not as much of a challenge.
What do my guildies come up with?

Whilest leveling, and then doing dailies, I always thought to myself that the Scarlet Onslaught Raven Priests were pretty awesome. I thought that maybe, just maybe, if Blizzard ever did anything for a class in the future, like a new tier or new talent, that the Raven thing for Shadow Priests would be awesome. In fact, I'd probably start DPSing more (which is scary, cause i'm all heals, all the time. But I'd def change specs more XD)

Then, for Warlocks, my major thing was how I wish they could name their minions. I know that that wouldn't work because this demon already has a name, you're just summoning it to do your bidding, but still. My blueberrie has "hug" in his name. That's not scary at all :(

Second thing with Warlocks, and this is purely me just wanting to match and have certain colors, but I wish minions could have different colors. I highly prefer the blue/purple color scheme of the succubus.


So, my question to you ladies and gents is, if you could change, add-on or make something better to a class specifically, what would it be? Not necessarily game mechanics like pets running odd paths, but something to do with the class itself.

Hola, ladies! After much dungeon grinding, I finally got my main to level 80. Which means... heroics tiem!!1!!

But I wanna do good. No, not good. Great. I'm decently geared as it is, since I did the last four levels via dungeons, and I already know what to look for concerning stats, but I'm wondering about addons.

Right now, I'm using spellflash for shot rotation help, and I thought I had an addon that automatically tracked what I was targeting but I guess not...? Or it's not working. (HunterZ? Or something to that effect?), so I've been doing it manually (which is a pain). I really like spellflash's simplicity, but I wouldn't mind a text 'Kill shot/Explosive shot/Black arrow is ready!' sort of thing to flash on screen, too, since my eyes aren't always able to pull away from a fight.

I'm also using WoW's default UI, and wouldn't mind an upgrade from that. I've been doing pretty okay with it but it's clunky and takes up a lot of my screen and something more streamlined and modern would be nice. I'm not super concerned since I use maybe 5-8 spells as a Hunter, but hey. A move into the future would be nice. I really have no idea how to go about UI's, since I've only ever used the default one :( I realize it's mostly a matter of taste, but I don't even know where to begin. I find I work best by the colors of my buttons, so something with smaller buttons would be ideal for me.

AND I am looking for something to indicate my threat-- mine, and my pet's as two separate entities, preferably. Even with growl off I can sometimes pull an add or two with my pet, which I obviously do not want. I can usually figure out my own threat (since things end up RUNNING TOWARDS MY FACE) and can use MD on the tank when that happens, but I don't always realize my pet's got aggro. So that would be nice.

So to sum it up:

- Modern, compact, sleek UI (suggestions, pics, whatever you have!)
- Threat detecting addon, customizable for myself and my pet
- A text-based alternative/addition to spellflash
- An automatic tracking addon that works since mine does not :(

A friend just got a toon to 77 for the first time, and she's saying that she can't get cold weather flying from the trainer unless she also has epic flying.

I could swear that when my first toon started flying in NR, the only requirement was the slow flying skill.

Am I remembering wrong, or has it changed? If it changed, does anyone remember when? (And why on earth would they change it, are they trying to depress the newer players?)

I could probably find this on wowhead or wowwiki but... I'm behind the work firewall. And dying of curiosity.

ETA: Just to clarify, I'm not talking about the BoA Tome of Cold-Weather Flying. As it's her first toon to reach 77, she doesn't have a main to buy the tome.

(My own level 68 druid, with non-epic flight of course, quite enjoyed her use of the tome. And she dinged 69 while exploring NR for the achievement. Easy XP, yay!)

I've been having fun DPSing on my warrior lately. He's usually a tank but with all the badge gear his off spec has caught up quite a lot recently. :)

He is Arms spec and one thing I'd like to be able to add is to efficiently be able to do an interrupt. Am I better off taking the rage loss and stance dancing for to berserker stance for pummel or swapping in a shield and shield bashing then swapping back to my 2-hander? Any help with a macro to do either of those would be appreciated, there is a lot of stale macro info out there.

Hmmm, while I'm on the subject, my understanding is that fury at some gear level overtakes arms. I like Arms a lot but willing to give fury a whirl, pun intended :P I have the 232 i-level 2-handed axe from one of ice crown 5 mans I could add in for a second weapon.

Is my understanding on fury/arms DPS correct? Is my guy, Didymus on Garrosh server, at that gear level? I've been doing 4.5-5K in 10 mans, I could probably tighten my rotation a bit and I need to set up a DOT notifier to better track rend. Any pointers would be welcome.

From Blue: The Oculus had some additional changes made. The Planar Anomlies during the Eregos encounter will have a shorter duration and do reduced damage, some of the drakes above Varos’s platform have been removed, and the drakes controlled by players will move a little faster.

Yesterday I was thinking, "you know they keep nerfing it and trying to make it idiot proof, but if the nubs don't move away from Eregos's orbs they're still gonna die". And now this. Goodness gracious!

I'll admit that Oculus is not my favorite instance and I have avoided a bit in the past. I don't hate it though, and I've never dropped group when I was given it as my random. I still let out a hearty "UGH" out loud and in party chat. With all of these nerfs I think I'll feel less "ugh"ish when Oculus pops up as my random. Especially considering the EIGHT Triumph Badges and chance at the Reins of the Azure Drake.

What about you guys?

How soon do you think is reasonable for a new DK to start tanking? How much of the starter gear would I need to replace with tanking gear before I could tank an instance?

The reason why I ask this question is that I am trying to level a DK to 65 to be my professions alt. I am tired of questing, so I thought I would do it through instances. Instances with my other characters haven't been too bad, but wow...I couldn't believe how bad the tanks were last night! (my favorite was the bear tank who kept telling us to kill the casters first and then wouldn't get aggro on anybody but the melee) I wouldn't have thought that a brand new DK would be ready to tank, but surely I can do better than that...right?

How soon did you start tanking after starting your DK?

A couple of things dealing with my poor poor little priest stuck at lvl 71, since I am such a dungeon whore. :P

Up until now, my Priest has been exclusivly Holy, it was like as soon as I hit Northrend my ability to heal just went right out the window! :( and I had been doing fine until I went out there. I quit her for a month and come back to Disc Priests rule and Holy Priests suck! BLAH. Now, from what I understand, I want to get lot's of spirit and spell power on her and go from there, are there any caps I would need for 80 on the other stats that I would use? I also changed some of my gear for Heirloom gear, but I don't know if that would do anything drastic or not?

Also, because of that, I turned around and got Dual Specced for Shadow. but my DPS is terrible. As far as I can tell, and I don't have much confidence in it, but then I also don't have a seperate set of gear for the Shadow Spec. What would I need for this one? Because sometimes just doing DPS is nice. <3's Plus it'd be nice to Que for either DPS or heals if need be.
